Life is tough right now, we understand that. We all send love and hope that you and your families are all doing well. Remember, extend grace, be the love, and know that we are all called upon to be the light in this difficult time.

But, as we sit with this– we present some much needed

EYE CANDY——

beautiful wedding gowns.

In no particular order we’re sharing some of our favorite gowns from some of our favorite bridal designers. Enjoy!

From Carolina Herrera, Venezuelan designer of astonishingly beautiful garments come a couple of our fave looks. Herrera is always on the top of the list in couture as well as ready to wear.

In 2008, Herrera was awarded the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America, and “Womenswear Designer of the Year” in 2004. She received the Fashion Group International Superstar Award, the Style Awards Designer of the Year in 2012 and the “Mercedes-Benz Presents” title for her 2011 collection. She has been on the cover of Vogue seven times. In 2014, she earned the 2014 Couture Council Award for Artistry of Fashion.

Christian Siriano, what can we say? Always a trendsetter (think of Billy Porter’s red carpet look!), and now in the news for volunteering his entire team to make masks for the Covid-19 response in NYC. He worked early in his career with Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen, Christian and launched his collection in 2008. The Christian Siriano collection is shown each season at New York Fashion Week, and presented in New York and Paris to retailers. Known for whimsical and show-stopping design from fantasy evening gowns and cocktail dresses to tailored sportswear, intricately detailed shoes and accessories, his collection can be found at department stores and specialty boutiques around the globe. In 2012, the first flagship Christian Siriano store opened in New York City, and in 2013 he was inducted as a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).

From Berta, the fashion house is Berta Balilti. Berta founded her namesake brand in 2004. Berta has an avant-garde design style, one that always tests the barriers and boundaries of the modern world of fashion design. Her style of design is famous for being bold, sexy and modern, all while combining vintage materials and retro styles. Aside from designing all the collections at the fashion house, Berta oversees the entire production processes in her studio still to this day, when she has over 150 retailers all around the world.

Oh, Rebecca Schoneveld! What beautiful bridal gowns you create! She “started out as a one-woman operation has grown over nearly 10 years into a team of 15 amazing people. And from our simple founding in Rebecca’s apartment with sales through Etsy, their expansion has given rise to Schone Bride, the Brooklyn Bridal Warehouse, and the Schone Design Studio. They are “dedicated to cultivating an ethical environment that values positivity and respect. That respect extends to employees, our vendors and business partners, our industry colleagues, and most importantly, our clients and their families.” Their “Mirabel Gown” for us, defines luxe minimalism.

We’re always big fans of Monique Lhuillier, she never disappoints! She is a Filipino-French fashion designer and creative director known for her beautiful creations. She launched her brand in 1996 to critical and popular acclaim and has since established houses in Los Angeles. Fall 2020 is fresh with “matte sequin tulle, abstract floral bead work and dimensional jacquard organza. Detachable overskirts, dramatic veils with floral degradé and accenting shrugs.”

Allison Webb offers clean elegance with luxe touches. Allison is a Georgia girl, attending UGA (Go Dawgs!) before moving to NYC and graduating from Parsons. She began her career interning at Chado Ralph Rucci giving her a taste for couture. She then spent a year at the studio of Oscar de la Renta and then moved to J.Crew helping them launch their bridal and ready to wear collections. Before starting her own design house, she worked with Tory Burch in luxury embellishments and later at Ann Taylor designing bridal gowns.

Hayley Paige has been making waves in the bridal industry for several years. Fresh, innovative and yet clean and romantic. We bet if you’re a bride that is searching for your dress, you’ve tried on at least one of her beautiful creations!
